1970 Ford Mustang (Pro Touring)

Unfortunately I've decided to sell my Mustang as due to work commitments I just don't have the time to get the old girl out from the garage. The car is ready to go. all it really needs is to be used.

The car is finished is Ash Black Pearl paint highlighted with satin black hood stripes. rear tail light panel and genuine 3 M BOSS 302 stripes. Please note that the car isn't a genuine Boss 302.

Interior:

Stock 1970 Mustang interior barring the 4 point roll cage. bucket front seats and tilt steering column fitted with an aftermarket steering wheel.

Wheels tyres. brakes steering etc:

17 x 8 and 17 x 9 rims fitted with new tyres.

Slotted front and rear disc brakes with Lokar parking brake kit and shifter operated line lock.

Ford 9" rear end fitted with a 3. 50:1 posi traction unit and Moser shafts.

Heidts 4 link rear suspension fitted with coil overs allowing ride height adjustment at the turn of a spanner.

Front coil over suspension (Ron Morris Performance) fully adjustable shocks and ride height adjustment.

Flaming River rack and pinion kit complete with a stainless tilt column.

Heavy duty front sway bar.

Global West fully adjustable front strut rods.

Transmission:

C 6 automatic transmission custom built by Dave Pollen Enterprise.

Custom built 10" 3000 stall speed torque converter.

Transmission cooler

B&M shifter

164 tooth SFI approved flex plate.

Engine:

358 Cleveland fully rebuilt (30 miles only)

Forged piston 0. 030

Resized con rods

Fresh crankshaft

File fit piston rings

Rotating assembly was fully balanced by Jeff Bull

Moroso oil pand and pickup.

Custom ground hyd roller camshaft

Howards cams link bar hyd roller lifters

Cloyes true roller timing gear

Weiand aluminium water pump.

Billet aluminium serpentine pulley set

Trick flow aluminium cylinder heads

Stainless steel one piece intake and exhaust valves.

Custom matched valve springs (perfect seat and open pressures for this camshaft)

Howards Cams aluminium roller rockers (1. 73 ratio)

Trick flow custom length one piece pushrods.

Weiand aluminium intake manifold

Fabricated valve covers

Fuel system:

F. A. S. T Ezi EFI fuel injection system. this is the complete system including return to tank. regulator and fuel pump / filters.

New fuel lines fitted.

New fuel tank and sender fitted.

Ignition system:

Mallory electronic distributor.

M. S. D 7 AL ignition unit with rev limiter.

M. S. D Blaster HVC II ignition coil.

Ford Racing HT leads.

Cooling:

Custom built aluminium radiator fitted with electric thermostatically controlled fan with manual over ride.

Exhaust:

Long tube headers feed a stainless steel 2. 5" dual exhast system fitted with Flowmaster baffles and O 2 sensors for the on board computer system controlling the fuel injection.

Body and chassis:

Stock body panels finished in Ash Black pearescent paint and Boss 302 stripes. The hood is also fitted with a fully functional shaker unit fitted with a K&N Xtreme air cleaner unit. Both front and rear frame rails are in good condition and the chassis has been strengthend with sub frame connectors. Flush mounted composite hood pins are fitted to the hood. There are a couple of small scratches but nothing major that's for sure.

This car pulls like a train when required but has fantastic manners around town due to the fuel injection system. The car is very drivable in any condition and the steering is very precise. handling is second to none for a car this age and it drives and steers like it's on rails.

As already mention the car is taxed and m. o. t'd until May 2014 and all she needs is to be used.
