This is an absolutely stunning, low mileage example which we worked very hard to buy from the meticulous owner and were very pleased when he finally, and very reluctantly allowed us to purchase the car.

The gentleman had searched the Uk looking for the best XJ-S in the country, eventually buying this car and immediately sending it to a renowned XJS specialist with instructions to spare no expense in making the car absolutely perfect in every respect and to address any potential issues arising from the car's lack of use. In addition to the substantial purchase price a further £7,000 was spent bringing the car into a truly remarkable condition, it is probably better now than when it was new ! The list of work done is far too extensive to list in this advertisement, suffice to say the owner was a perfectionist and cost was not a concern, everything was attended to from the Pirelli tyres up and includes shock absorbers, discs, calipers, brake lines, fuel tank, fuel lines, injectors cleaned, gearbox and differential oil, engine flushed and serviced then oil changed again after a couple of hundred miles ! The paintwork was treated to "Car-Skin" protective treatment and the underside was thoroughly cleaned and extensively undersealed.

We have owned many very fine XJS models and can honestly say this is the best we have encountered. The car has never been out in the rain since 1990 and was stored in a bone dry, heated garage which was as spotless as the car - indeed, when we purchased the car the owner would not allow us to drive it home on a rainy day !

Finished in Jaguar Racing Green with Doeskin hide piped green, the car has covered just 19,000 miles with only 2 former keepers having been retained by the second owner from 1990 until 2018. Indeed, it is this second keeper who we have to thank for the car's low mileage and incredible condition, the car having being carefully stored in a heated, dehumidified garage and very seldom used throughout the gentleman's tenure.

The car of course drives without fault and imparts the typically Jaguar glorious, flowing progress, the iconic V 12 providing effortless smooth power, silently delivered. It is a real pleasure to be behind the wheel and everything is working exactly as it should, including the trip computer, air conditioning and cruise control.

Together with the vehicle we have an A 4 binder containing the complete original book pack, stamped service book, full set of original keys, some old MOT's and the original XJ-S sales brochure from 1989.

Quite simply the best XJ-S Coupe available, the colour has not been flattered by the artificial lighting in our warehouse which darkens the appearance considerably.

The car will be inspected and prepared by an independent specialist for your complete peace of mind and supplied with a new MOT with no advisory notices.
