Own and enjoy a rare and unique vintage classic for a very small investment. The Volvo 1800 Sportwagon was made in very limited numbers using. easy to replace. all Volvo mechanicals. The car is easily recognizable with beautiful lines. and is a great-easy to maintain-collectable with lots of upward potential (Wayne Carini says this is a car to watch). This particular 1800 has been totally refurbished and is fully and completely ready to be used and driven. Every aspect of it's mechanical condition has been addressed and upgraded. rebuilt. repaired. or prepared for use with the idea of using it as a driver/classic. The beautiful green paint is only 2 years old as is the interior. The automatic transmission is the utterly reliable Borg Warner 35-one of the greatest most reliable transmissions ever built. The factory air conditioner is fully rebuilt and cooling well. In addition to cosmetic upgrades the car has been treated to new u joints. brakes. belts. hoses. front suspension. exhaust system. To ensure the legendary Volvo reliability. the engine has had a minor rebuild during which the engine was backdated to the higher horsepower B 20 E specs. The car runs and drives very smoothly and powerfully. The car now sports a fully sorted Weber Carburetor and the old fuel injection system will be supplied to the new owner for his or her enjoyment and pleasure. This car has been fully redone by the professional Volvo mechanic that has serviced the car since it was new in 1973. Probably the most sound and reliable 1800 on the market.
