Solid California with original Blue Plates Gets attention everywhere it goes
Lotus Elite Type 75 503. with power steering and A/C (no fan belt attached to A/C unit)1974 #121 off the assembly line Fiberglass body and Chassis in excellent condition. garage kept Weight is only 2300 lbs- Yellow exterior - previous owner did a respray. not bad. driver quality- All original 2. 0 liter aluminum I 4 16 valve with dual side draft carbs- Runs great. does smoke a bit on start up if sitting for a period of time- Original 5 spd manual transmission Clutch in great shape. shifts smoothly- Headlights converted to electric motors for consistency. original vacuum mechanics included if you wish to convert back to vacuum- Seats and panels recovered- Carpet in great shape- Rear hatch opens as it should new gas struts for rear hatch and engine bonnet- Rear wiper motor not installed - Windshield washer does not work - Am/Fm cassette not working- All gauges. horn. and exterior signals and lights work (Speedometer sometimes stops working)- Power windows work great

Oliver Winterbottom . He is quoted as saying that the basic chassis and suspension layout were designed by
Colin Chapman . making the Elite and its sister design the
Eclat
the last Lotus road cars to have significant design input from Chapman himself.
