1985 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series 500 SEL for sale

You are looking at a 1985 Mercedes 500 SEL. 4 dr Sedan 8-cyl. 4973 cc/184 hp which I purchased from a private collector a few months ago.
This car. as I understand it. was in the same private collection since it's birth.
Has only 72. 00 miles (that's less than 3. 00 miles / year).
Always garaged.
Just fully detailed and serviced at Tires Plus in Atlanta. with all the bells and whistles either R&R or checked out totally.
Runs smooth as silk ps. pb. am/fm cassette radio. power windows. cold A/C. sun roof. cruise control.
Rear seat tilts.
Black with tan interior.
Not a mark on it.
OK. maybe one or two.
Original paint and glass.
Registered and running.
Will assist with shipping.

The smoothed-over styling of the W 126 S-Class signaled a newfound focus on aerodynamics and fuel-efficiency. With a coefficient of drag 14 percent better than the previous model and curb weights starting around 3. 00 pounds. this generation of S-Class was quite efficient for its time.
In general. powertrains for Mercedes W 126 models are quite bulletproof and last well past 200. 00 with no issues. Engines often outlive the transmission.
