I bought this car 4 months ago as a project thinking I would have time to do it justice. how wrong I was. So  here it is. up for sale. I will try to describe it as accurately as possible. viewing is welcomed and recommended.

Sunbeam Stiletto 1971 875cc

No Tax or MOT but is tax exempt.

Date of registration 06/05/1971

1 former owner/keeper prior to me.

Last on the road 25 years ago - tax disc shows 1988 - have 3 previous tax discs and 2 MOTs

51315 Miles

 

Body work is in very good condition for the age. As far as I can see it doesn't need any wielding for mot (can't see that it has had any either)

Lower body panels have been sprayed at some stage in its life.

There does seem to be small rust spots in paint work over various body panels.

Under the carpet and in the front boot. is all in very good condition as seen in photos.

Vinyl roof in good condition but does have signs of rust underneath (bumpy surface)

 

Engine runs however only from a gallon petrol container as seen in photos as I believe a pipeline is blocked from the front tank.

Clutch and brake pedal don't do a lot. So possibly hydraulics problem? (not been used for 25 years)

Hand brake works.

Most lights work

Water pump leaking.

 

Interior in excellent condition. nbsp;black vinyl seats. carpets. rear rubber mats. headlining. nbsp;seatbelts & rear seat rubber retainers - all original - see photos.

When the car was purchased. there seemed to be a pile of second hand parts. including: brake shoes. water pump. indicator & light stalk. distributor cap & leads. points and other parts - see photos & welcome to view.  

As far as I know. it has always been kept under shelter.
