1956 Lincoln Premiere Convertible - NO RESERVE.

We're moving and now need to sell the toys. Only 2. 47 were made of this model and there are less than 200 worldwide still on the road. This is number 311 and was made on Thursday. February 23rd. 1956.

Based on the build plate in the door jam. the plate shows the following build code:

BY76B 25-630-B23-311
BY76B = Convertible.
25 = exterior color
630 = interior color
B23 = Born date of Feb 23.
311 = 311th car made of the 2447 made.  

The car has been newly painted and the interior is new.

The car is Turquoise blue. popular in the 50's and has had a recent cosmetic restoration with new paint. new tires. new shocks. a rebuilt and painted engine and engine bay. new interior. no rust. good transmission and has the factory continental kit on the rear. clean underside. The restoration was on going before funds dried up by the previous owner and I bought the car. The convertible top hardware is in the trunk as are fender skirts and some additional trim pieces. The fender skirts are from another '56 vehicle and will have to be modified and painted to fit and match this car.  Several pieces of the trim are missing. The wind shield has cracks and there are odds and ends that the next owner will have fun working on. All of the hard work has been done.

The car requires an exhaust which can be bought on eBay for about $ 270. 00. The exhaust hangers on the underside of the car are all in good shape.

Some pictures of the convertible top hardware being fitted into place for pictures are attached so you can see that it is not a parade car.

The car comes with a car cover and clean title in my name.

The odometer reads about 30. 00 miles. At auction these models. fully finished. typically bring in bids between $75K to $140K.
