1949 Morris Minor (rare ‘lowlight’ model) 64,000 original miles for sale
Current customer rating:
1949 Morris Minor (rare ‘lowlight' model). 64. 00 original miles. Registered until November 2017.
Car has been always garaged. lovingly cared for and only driven occasionally.
It is perfectly straight. has no rust at all and was given new upholstery and repainted in the original colour around 1980. Paint is still very presentable with only minor blemishes.
It blows no smoke. uses no oil and runs very well. 4 speed gearbox and clutch work fine.
Work carried out within the last 500 Km:
·
New retractable seatbelts imported from the UK fitted front and rear
·
Brakes overhauled inc new hoses
·
Carburettor re-kitted. fuel system flushed
·
New windscreen rubber fitted (stainless trim moulding re-fitted perfectly)
Special features:
·
Original style cross-ply tyres in good condition with at least 70% tread
·
Has blinkers and also has working ‘trafficators' (the flip-out side blinkers behind the door handles)
·
Has a Smiths glove box clock
The car can be driven as-is and I expect would easily make the journey to an interstate destination (at a fairly relaxed pace). However if you would prefer to trailer it. I'd be h appy to assist with local delivery or arrange for interstate delivery via ‘Get My Ride' towing.
Enjoy the car as is. or put a small amount of work into it and end up with a great showpiece. It must be one the best unmolested lowlights in Australia.
