1956 Morris Traveller split screen. extremely solid car  with looks to be very good wood. has been stored in a dry garage by the last elderly owner. the old style v5 it has shows no previous owners but his daughter told me he bought it in 1963 !This has the cheese grater style grille and early dash. The car has been brush painted a long time ago and was originally green with green leather seats. The floors are very solid as is the underneath of the car. ive had it turning over but not started. the fuel is very stale. I cant see any rust on any of the panels . In my opinion its a fairly straight forward resto. the brakes need some attention as the pedal goes to the floor. but its free rolling . The bonnet strip. badge. etc are all here . nd also some spares collected over the years. also some original handbooks and manuals and a very interesting  car log filled in over 25 years with details of maintenance . it had £1 worth of welding in 1973 !!This is a very rare car with approx 20 or so known to survive. Possable loss of my own storage and other commitments has made me decide that i will not be restoring the car myself. Call 07885410510 for any other info .
