Euro version with 286bhp. Black on black. Excellent rust free condition.

Commonly known as “The Shark” the BMW 635csi sports a very purposeful stance and none more so that the famed M6.

This is a 140+ mph 1985 European version known as the M635csi. imported into Southern California in 1994. The warning panel and computer still have the German lettering :-)

The subject of an expensive top end engine rebuild 2 years ago. along with rebuilt brakes.  Very few miles since. this vehicle is rust free and drives and handles beautifully.

Only 4. 88 Euro's were built between 1983 and 1988.  The differences between the Euro and the US model are 1: Higher compression M88 engine with 286bhp. 2: Larger brakes. 3: Lighter cleaner front and rear bumpers. 4: Recaro sport seats & rear head rests.

This car is original apart from: 

Chrome front strut torsion bar.  

New wheels and tires. Original TRX wheels are included. although tires for the metric sized TRX wheels are now very expensive (only Michelin make them) which is why I chose to replace the rims. Tires: 235/40ZR18 95W front and 265/35ZR18 97W rear.

New H&R springs. lowering the car about 1. 5 inches.  

New multi-media sound/navigation system – single din – removable/adjustable tilting screen. Features bluetooth. hands free mobile. USB. CD. DVD and 3d navigation.

From European Car in 2009: “The European-specification M635CSi is. of course. the last word in cool. The brakes are larger. the springs are lower.
