for sale my 1956 lpg converted ford anglia 100e v8 this is a completely solid car it is tax and mot exempt.
it is fitted with a rebuilt v8 250 daimler hemi fitted to a daimler borg warner 35 auto box.
the engine has a reground crank. ew oil pump gears . ew shells . new rings . reconditioned heads . reconditioned carbs. electronic ignition . ew leads and plugs and running an alternator. pollished rocker covers. the rest of the engine bits were shot blasted and painted in 2 pack gloss black.
the radiator is a new re cored daimler 250.
the suspension on the front is capri and the steering geometry is correct using a shortened capri rack . there is no bump steer and the car drives a bit like a mk1 escort.
the rear axle is a corsair 2000e running a 3:77 diff with 9 inch drums. br>the brakes are servo assisted and stop the car extremely well.
the shell is completely solid  and it is the early anglia 100e with small rear window.
the bodywork is really quite straight for a 57 yr old car  apart from rust bubbles at the bottom of the doors and at the rear of one front wing where it joins the sill
the paint work is micro-blistered in places and could do with a full paint depending on what you want or run as is.
the interior is unfinished there is no head lining i have have not got round to fitting the speedo to it yet i just use my satnav. have all the original seats in good condition but again i just have not fitted them yet.
the car also runs on lpg so this makes it cheap to run with the price of fuel these days.

to be honest it needs finishing but i don't have the time . i have been using it as it is.

in summary the car mechanically structurally and electrically is good with all the hard work done it just needs the tedious finishing bits doing.

for more information tel 07733621456 or email me . I may also be interested in a twin wheel large caravan as px within ebay rules of course.

For all those people asking if the car has had the engine size updated on the log book . the answer is no . any car pre 1973 does not need to updated as regards engine cc . have checked this with dvla and googled lots of hot rod forums to confirm this.
