Well you have read it on ebay a thousand times " reluctant sale"
This truly is a sad sale but ive got a new venture and you carnt keep them all I have owned this bug twice now. thats how much i luv it but dont think i'll get a third . but so long as i get a good price it can go otherwise. we'll keep cruising
Bug is a april 53 car which if your in the know you'll be aware this is the second month of ovals Still on orig pan plus valances. heater channels are still orig with new bottoms I had the shell off a couple of years ago to do a underneath resto (pics to prove) so you will not find any rot. patches or plates joining the shell/ chassis together and all bolt holes line up including under the rear seat which are often missed. While i did the work i carried out this also includes Stainless steel pan washers New pan seal New master cylinder New flexys New hard lines New short shocks New dropped spindles New gear box mounts 4" inch narrowed beam with custom shock towersnotched spring plates when the car was running low (check last pic)
Plus ive done various things along the way while owning the bug 18 months ago clutch kit and gear box oillast year it had the spare wheel well done
inside you will find american spec high back seats which are very comfy and rising in price and very original inside seems its been thru several looks Car runs a 1500 single port which is one of the best engines built
I must put there are things not included as they were gifts Rev countershrunken Head Safety star Steering wheel unless i get enough on the car ( black wheel will be on)
Lets get the bad bits out the way alsobody work is tired with rust coming thru in placesseats were white which is showing thru the black
prob loads ive missed so best come have a look because its rides first class. even the wife loves driving the bug
I have a price in mind and would p/x and no i dont want any modern stuff what so ever. idealy a lwb t 4 Advertised elsewhere so i reserve the right to remove at anytime Forgot to mention just fitted ali hex bar t bars Happy Bidding
