Right. I really don't know what I'm doing so will put this up as more of a decider than anything.  

Well. aircooled. I really don't have the love to drive em so I think I have to part with OLIVE. my NEWLY ACQUIRED 1969 vw beetle. She has the looks of a pre67 beetle with a few little body modifications and pulls attention really well. Here's some of the information - spec.

Well. The engine is a 1200 vege recon sourced a fellow VZI'er and since owning I have drove well over 1200 miles in her including 5-30 hours down to Santa pod to bugjam. The engine has been fault proof but when she goes on a long run when you come to a stop and idle the oil pressure is low and idle is really low but I do have a fully rebuilt (not by me without reciepts) 1600 tp motor with 110 engle(?) cam and the likes. That is available separately at additional cost or could work out some kind of deal. Has 2 webber idt's is it? 36's but one needs a service I was told. Brand new 200m clutch to come with it also. Monza 4 top exhaust and it needs running in as been run for 5 mins max in the last 2 years.

The beetle has a few patina spots and the paint isn't great - few runs here and there and surface rust - bubbling in the usual places nothing major and from a distance she's mint. She's 44 she's a minter for that! Solid underneath no welding at all needs doing the MOT guy was pleasantly surprised when he got underneath her! You need to see her to appreciate her kind of thing! Like any old motor I guess! 

I acquired her on the 26th of June and she was mot'd the Saturday! Passed with flying colours with only one advisory being a slightly corroded rear brake pipe. I was told they were new 100 mile ago when I bought her so cleaned up a treat. The amount of history and reciepts with her is unreal. A full resto including all the before and after pics. reciepts of all the body panels switches interior etc is all present and has mot's from the 80's. I believe she has under 10 owners.  

price is fair imo but negotiable so please let me know any offers. deduct £700 if you dont want the 1600 engine. interested in swaps with other dubs mk1 golf caddy turbo diesel or a fast petrol (1. 820v etc) b4 passat estate mk4 golf estate bmw audi a3 avant estate etc what you got.
