Here is one of the rarest electric cars out there.
I purchased this car in 2013 with hopes to restore it.
You know how that goes.
I have three garages full of things I am going to restore.
There are probably less than ten of these in existence.
Only 47 cars were sold.
The car was built using a Renault Dauphine chassis.
You can read more about this vehicle on the web.
The car is complete and I did repair the controller so it does run.
The car presently has no batteries in it.
The body panels are solid and in excellent shape.
The floor boards are in fair shape. and the undercarriage is in poor shape.
That is where most of the work will come in if you plan to restore it.
The serial number on the electric motor and identification tag match.
All numbers match.
The car is completely original.
This vehicle is the 72 volt version which is the most desirable.
Most Henney Kilowatts were 36 volts.
The domain henneykilowatt. com is also included with the price of the car.
Hundreds of people a week navigate to that site which is on Google's first page when you enter "Henney Kilowatt".
Also included is a lot of documentation and memorabilia. some of which is pictured above.
The car is located in Kingsport. TN.
