Here's a pretty rare one. I only know of one other. It's a 1969 International Harvester TravelAll 15 passenger school bus from the great state of Montana. It's got a 149" wheelbase and a 30" stretch in the body. I believe the conversion was performed for the factory by the Springfield Equipment Company in Springfield Ohio with the stretched body and the high fiberglass roof. The bus was used as a rural school bus in Montana and then later as a camper (hence the passenger seats are no longer there and there is a circular hole in the passenger side where the stove vent was). The truck runs and drives great. I was concerned about the safety of the original split rims so I got new one piece steel wheels and brand new tires. Now I'd not hesitate to drive this truck. It fires on the first turn of the key. I'm not sure if it's a 345 or a 392 V8. It's got a four speed on the floor and shifts great. It's surprisingly peppy. The glass is all good. and the truck is a very nice dry western truck in original paint and no body work. The the only rust I've found being around both rear wheel openings. The rear barn doors are dented and spot welded closed for some reason. I recently titled this as an SUV so it does not require any special license to drive it now. I've been on the fence about selling this one because I think I've found a 1971 IH 4x4 Travelall for parts nearby and I'd love to put the seats. 4x4 equipment. and roof rack on this one and keep it. But I'm going to offer it up for sale one time here and see if someone wants it more than I do. For the collector. this is a very unusual original find.
