For sale is a 1961 Citroen ID 19.

Translucent Fiberglass roof.

I bought the car 2 years ago and since then. I've enjoyed the car while updating it:

- 4 new Michelin X ($900)

- entire stainless steel muffler (built in The Netherlands. just this one costed more than 3 k)

- brand new disks and pads (this car has inboard brakes. so replacing them is not an easy task)

- new parking brake connects

- new door locks: ignition and doors all work with the same little key

- rewiring of various electrical components and front and back lights

- side glass adjustments

- gear adjustments

- clutch

- suspension check (this car still works on its original black spheres. and goes up and down all the way thru the 5 positions)

- interiors replaced with an original 1961 set from a donor car

- oil changes

-new battery

I have receipts for all the work done on the car.

The car is my daily commuter spring through summer. and always garaged in winter.

It travels 90 mph (gps checked) and gets tons of looks everywhere.

Previously a California car. it has not as much rust as one would think just judging by the looks: it needs repairs in the front floors only. and about the body panels (which on this car are interchangeable) they can be replaced or fixed individually.

A truly unique car.

If car is for sale, can you give me more information. Would you consider trading the Citroen for a 1980 MGB, running of course. All my cars run and drive. Location of car would be helpful.
