We have owned this beautiful car for about ten years. We drive it once or twice a month. I had originally bought it for my wife's birthday. The mileage is original/correct and the car runs great. Simple. No problems. No rust on the frame. etc. I did use magnetic signs on the trunk once to advertise our business and I see a few sprinkles of moisture have eroded the paint on the right panel. (Surface Only). Otherwise. it runs well. handles beautiful. shifts easy. starts fast. I replaced the existing ignition with a more dependable coil and that makes a "Major" difference on starting. Its a show stopper for sure! Wherever you go. people just love it!! Plus. it's really a lot of fun to drive. I'd like to let you know that although it's titled as 1966. it may actually be newer then documented. I'm not certain. but I do have an appraisal that was done in 2007 by a certified member of the American Society of Appraisers. It had a stated value of $15. 00. I have not been able to independently establish the production date except for the previous registration from NY. The car has no mechanical issues. minor cosmetic issues. and as stated previously. runs just perfect. The cover/top is in excellent shape. I suggest you do as I did when I purchased it here on e Bay 10 years ago. Purchase it. come to San Antonio. and if your not happy I'll gladly refund your deposit. I'm not a collector. but I am pretty mechanical inclined. When I purchased the car I was interested in "mechanical condition". not collector value. So the priority was that it looked and ran well. It still does.
