1972 Morris Mini (taxed exempt) that was prepared for Mini 7 Racing by the previous owner. My intention was to put it on the road as a road legal race car some 20+ years ago. Ripe for Hyabusa or R1 conversions. It has a metal removable front end. The insides of the door have been lightened. Window regulators and proper glass cannot currently be fitted but could easily be put back if required. The shell itself has been lightened and anything unnecessary has been removed. The main areas of being lightened is around the rear seat and rear pocket areas (removed). Again this could easily be put back. The shell was painted inside. under side and outside 20+ years ago and there are a few scratched + one small ding in the rear panel just to the left of the boot lid about the size of a 50 pence peice. Full roll cage. Reconditioned Original Cooper S 7. 5" front braking system with new braided hoses. Seam welded subframes front and rear.  New Hi-Lo's adjustable suspension front and rear. New bearings etc in the trailing arms. New steering rack. From memory the rear brake drums are the ones with the wheel spacer built in. And again from memory i think it had all new rear brakes. Front wheels are the cooper pressed steel wheels. There are lots of parts with the sale to help with putting back together. See picsDoors and bonnet are hooked on only for the purposes of taking picturesFrom memory this includes new C. V joints (correct for the Cooper S disk brakes) gaiters. some of the heater ducting. fuel tank. speedo etc etc. Comes with a faily up to date V5 Log book. You are more than welcome to come and have a look. Please phone 07708250035 to arrange a viewing time)Buyer must collect. Cash on collection only. See my other auctions for more rare Mini parts etc In answer to some questions I've received and I didn't think of putting in when I listed this item: 1: Log book is in my name + collection of vehicle will be from the same address as stated on the log book.  2: The shell is original 1972-3 shell.  3: Shell was re-sprayed 20+ years ago in cellulose (as it would have originally been done). It would benefit from a final compound and polish or go over with 1200. Please remember (as stated above) there are now scratched and a small ding the rear from being stored for the last 20+ years. That is 100% dry + warm storage.  4: What you see in the pics is what you get. There is no loom. glass. seals. engine gearbox etc etc 5: It is 100% rust free 6: The original chassis number was removed from the original shell and kept to one side ready to be fitted to the new front end (I believe original panels were used for front end. I'm 95% sure of this backed up by how well they fit). I never got round to fitting the chassis number back on (don't forget. work on this was carried out 20+ years ago) and I now have no idea where the original chassis plate is. They are easily remanufactured and riveted in place. The chassis number is clearly stated in the log book. When / if the chassis plate turns up I will be more than happy to forward on to the new owner.  I've been asked for more pictures of the front end with the front end removed. I will also be taking pictures of the dash area. floor pan and I will try and get pics  (if they show up) of scratches + ding in rear. I will attempt to add a public pic gallery to my drop box account and put a like HERE ASAP:)Thanks for all the interestSteve
