1991 Mercedes G 250 Diesel

This is a genuine German Military G-Wagen that is totally Restored!

Supplied by Arete Automobili dealer in Europe on April 23 1991. this G-Wagon remained in the hands of the original buyer Bundeswehr Army until his passing last year. It has covered just 37. 17 kilometers in the last 25 years. which is approximately 23. 98 miles that equates to only 927 miles per year!

This truck is completely RUST FREE!
We carefully those this truck for the project. because it started out as a completely solid truck. with absolutely NO RUST!!!
24 V. along with it being a 5 cyl Diesel motor that's in Guinness book of records insures that you will enjoy this vehicle for years to come!

This is a completely Restored G-Wagon. It comes complete with all of the original parts fully serviced and maintained. It even has the Blaupunkt CD/AM/FM radio fitted!

As you can imagine. the G-Wagon. starts. runs and drives excellent well. The best I've ever known a G-Wagon of this brand new condition! The power steering is crisp. and true. as is the gear change. everything operating exactly as it should.

As with the rest of the G-Wagon the interior is completely Redone. and all four seats are brand new. as are the original no carpets. The chassis is in very good order. very strong. and it will be for many years. On the body of the car. there is NON oxidizing/rusting OR bubbling of the paint (Like many other that you can see on e Bay). But this is in keeping with the age of the Mercedes G-Wagon. and it actually adds to the charm and character of the car. as do the odd scrape. scratch and ding! This Mercedes G-Wagon is 100% original Military certified paint. in the correct Bronzegrun!

The Mercedes G 250 has a strong Roll cage fitted. which is Originally mounted to the body.

I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this Brand New condition example! This one owner Mercedes G -Class. is very tough to find in this original condition!

This truck could be turned into a really good show quality example. as the starting point is original and strong! It has No dings. NO scrapes. No scratches etc. The structure is good and strong! Perfect to just get in and use it for what it is! . an Military G-Wagen. full of charm.

Engine

This engine is the 2. 5 L Diesel. It starts right up every time. It doesn't use oil. or water. and runs great. We gave it a full service. including new fluids throughout. It has a little over 23 k miles and will happily sit at 65 mph while getting 25+MPG.

Body

The body is fully sandblasted. and protected by polyurethane primer.

The body of this Mercedes G 250 is in excellent condition for an original restored G-Class. The paint doesn't have any marks and looks new. All parts. and components are original. and work as it should.

Frame

The frame is fully Sandblasted. and protected by polyurethane primer.

Completely restored to original specs

Painted with original Mercedes Benz frame color paint. we have left it this way to show the vehicle in the original condition. but it can be undercoated upon buyer's request.

Floor Pans - Are solid and in very good shape.

Door Bottoms - Again are in great shape and don't have any rust or holes in them.

Bolts and screws

All replaced bolts. screws are new and Galvanized and meet the original quality 8. 8 or 10. 9
This G-Wagon has many to least Galvanized original parts. please see the pictures.

Battery

The interior is completely original and hasn't been messed around with in any way. It's in Brand new condition without any rips or scratches. it's in the original condition. with no carpet. Steering Wheel wrapped in fine Italian Leather. Seats finished in Carbon Upholstery that comes standard in G 63's.

We checked all brakes. They all work as they should and the parking brake holds the vehicle as it's meant to. Bearings. seals gaskets etc. were checked and replaced where required. Clutch operates correctly. the transmission shifts as it's meant to. and doesn't make any strange noises. There are no fluid leaks.

The vehicle is in New Jersey. It has passed all DOT. EPA . DMV tests and inspections and is 100% legally imported in to the USA. All necessary paperwork will be given to the buyer. It currently doesn't have a TITLE but all the papers are at the Motor Vehicle Department and soon can be transferred to the new owner. We are happy to take more photos/videos/facetime with any serious buyer. We welcome any and all inspections of the vehicle. We are able to pick up out of state buyers from a local airport.
