Bought this car approx. 12 months ago after it was featured in April 2012 Edition of Ultra VW Magazine. The car had recently been MOT’d & as yet to be registered in the UK therefore the winner will be the first UK registered owner.

I have a number of reasons for selling the car but the main one being a wife who refuses to be seen dead in the car(anti VW)!! So the situation is either sell the car or lose the wife & I think the later will cost me more in the long run!! The car has pretty much sat in my garage for the past 12 months.

The car is in great condition. certainly not concourse but still its in great condition & looks the business.

All the Original paperwork is offered with the car which is registered 27th September 1973 in The Netherlands registration GX-VL-18.

The Recaro style seats have been recently been recovered. The 1600cc engine runs well. is fitted with SSP Fuchs style wheels which measure 4. 5j at the front & 5. 5j at the rear. It has an adjustable front beam. dropped spindles etc. The roof is in great condition & the car is also fitted with a Mota Lita steering wheel. The bodywork is a semi black finish & retains a few military touchs like the detachable aerial. The car has also just had a mini service.

It’s a great little car. a real head turner!!

Whilst I am keen to sell I’m no way desperate & if the car doesn’t do the money I’ll simply keep it & put my other plans on the back burner for the time being.

Cleared funds to be paid prior to collection – the car is located at my place of work in Trafford Park. Manchester so I have to be respectful to my employer when I’m arranging any viewings etc.
