Sunbeam Alpine Mark 1 1960 fintail. 1500 cc original engine in post box red.

No MOT but taxed until June 2013 (Tax exempt). Car not used since September. but started weekly. Kept in secure and clean garage.

Replaced by previous owner; - brake disks. rev counter. door locks(offside and nearside). hood fittings. badge bar and fog lights. steering wheel (over £400). Over £2300 worth of new parts. Complete front end suspension and king pin mounts (cost over £1200). Twin solex carb fitted. New clutch master cylinder and fittings. Complete new front and spinners. Five wire wheels with nearly new tyres. Runs on unleaded but lead additive required.

Recent new ignition switch barrel and key by current owner.

Previous owner spent over £6. 00 to paint and restore. Paint job done 2002. wasn't perfect. could do with professional respray to bring car up to showroom condition. Still looks good when cleaned and polished. Not touched up so buyers can see what needs to be done.

All previous MOT and Tax documentation available. Also comes with official Rootes Group workshop manual and SAOC guide (copied and in ring binder). Plenty of assorted records and photographs from previous owners.

Car drives really nicely and looks very classy - a real head turner. Only used in the summer. A very nice affordable classic car. This car is the original factory low rider. and care is needed if living in an area with lots of speed humps!!

We know that people do buy this model to turn into Tigers. because of the fintail Mark 1 look.
