Up for sale is my 1963 Sunbeam Alpine Roadster. This vehicle is in much better shape than any similarly priced Alpines I've seen on ebay in the last several years in terms of condition. quality. appearance and function!  Don't waste your time and money buying an Alpine for around 8-10. 00 that will require 10. 00 more in improvements to get a product that will not be as nice as this one!

Incredibly clean 2 stage base and clear coat paint (blocked and buffed to a smooth high shine finish)

Beautifully hand-crafted. machine stitched and bolstered interior (double stitch accents throughout all panels and interior)

Upgraded and rebuilt drivetrain (fresh professionally fully rebuilt transmission that drives and performs better than any other transmission of this age I've ever driven and fully synchronized gears for effortless downshifts in all gears)

California car and absolutely incredible condition in terms of factory welds. panels. floors etc

Most of the chrome is recent (front and rear bumpers. all of grille. fuel surround. headlight surrounds. hubs)

(still needs windshield surround and trunk lid hinges re-chromed to be perfect. but fine for now)

New upgraded wiring harness. everything on its own circuit or relay (100% new heat shrunk connections everywhere)

Heated seats (fully adjustable 5 position switches) (easily removable if not in the taste of new owner)

                Electric fuel pump

Most wires hidden (and very nice heat resistant auto wiring loom where wires run to devices)

(All unused wires of new harness left intact incase future upgrades to electric gauges. fans. alternator. etc for newer or larger engine)

Brand new Gold Series Battery

New Grommets. seals. etc nearly everywhere

Fresh stainless exhaust. brakes. suspension. very healthy tread on tires

Tons more upgrades and rebuilt systems.

Perfect floor boards with factory welds noted prior to painstakingly installed sound deadener under fresh carpet

Great attention to detail and obviously not built to sell.

My remaining upgrades would be sway bar bushings. restoring horn and column sleeve (cosmetic only). throw out bearing bushing. and eventually re-chroming windshield frame. These improvements are inexpensive and aren't imperative in order for the car to be driven and enjoyed for years and years. but I have very high standards and consider them worth mentioning.

Great candidate for a 5. 0L or a V6 to make a Tiger Killer.  Or. Very fun to drive now with no problems of any kind.  I bought the car with plans to rebuild. and very quickly decided everything was way too great of condition. fun. and reliable to consider doing anything except enjoying it!

The imperfections I'm aware of in the exterior paint include a few chips the size of a single rice grain in very hard to detect areas (door edge. inside door. inside grille). one 1" crack in paint in rear boot cover from flexing to store away top (the blemish is in the interior of the car near the backseat backrest. no paint missing. but would be a good spot to touch-up to make perfect.  usually tons of scratches. chips. stress cracks etc in this area on all sunbeams. but i never had the top out and it looks the previous owners didn't either. so very good condition relative to any other sunbeams I've ever seen). These small chips demonstrate the paint job will wear incredibly well as they are limited to a tiny chip with no flaking!   under the hood and in the trunk also have some chips. but again. incredible condition relative to any others I've seen in the past 30 years. welcome to message me for more pics!

The gentlemen I bought the car from said that he purchased it from the second owner and was told that this particular Sunbeam was in a “Grey Goose” commercial. Based on its stunning restoration. I believe it!
