Chopped top. 1954Pontiac grille with 1954 Chevy directional lights. 1955  Chevy hooded headlights. rounded hood corners. 1955 Desoto dash. 1955 Chrysler rear fender trim on interior doors. enlarged rear wheel opening. third brake light built in trunk. 1955 Nash rear bumper guards. Nearly new www tires. very nice exterior sunvisor. This Hudson is sold with a chrome pair of Lakepipes and a NOS 1953 Olds steering wheel and horn ring. This car has only recently been painted blue and beautifully upholstered in blue and cream white. Since being painted and upholstered this car has been garaged except for appearing in one old car show.  Poor health is forcing me to sell this car. I bought this Hudson on ebay about five years ago. I paid $27. 00. for it. It originally belonged to Norm Wellingham from Susanville. California. When I first saw it at the National HET Meet in Sacramento in 1993 it was painted a rust color. Since purchasing the Hudson I've spent about $30. 00 upgrading the car. When I got the Hudson in 2008 the Hudson got about 6 miles to a gallon. I had my mechanic put progressive linkage on the carbs and doubled my mileage. I removed the lakepipes because the Hudson was way to loud for an old guy like me. I ran two exhaust pipes to the muffler and two tailpipes  out the rear of the muffler. The Hudson has a nice low roar. I didn't like dropping to my knees and hunting for a button under the car for the electric door locks so I had the door openings recut in and added 1948-49 Commodore door handles. The gas tank has also been welded over for a smooth look. I didn't like putting gas in the Hudson through the trunk. so I cut a panel and readded the gas tank door.  The stainless steel around the front windshield was not used. Instead silver rubber was used. I got the correct stainless and cut and welded the material to fit the chop. The tires are  somewhat wider than the original and you need to let the air completely out to remove and replace the rear tires. I didn't like this. so I opened the rear wheel wells. I added a 1955 DeSoto dash. recessed the center of the trunk and added a brake light. Fitted '55-57 Nash bumper guards to the rear. I paid $6. 00. 00 for a really beautiful paint job. and another $6. 00. 00 for the interior upholstery. I bought NOS windshielf wiper towers. rechromed the vent window frames and headlight bezels.

Good luck on bidding.
