EXTERIOR

The Lhasa Green paintwork on this GTi has been professionally re-sprayed and polished and is immaculate all-round. Having had a full restoration. all of the black trim and decals including the go faster stripes and bumpers were replaced or refurbished to a high standard and all remain in excellent condition. complimenting the condition of the paintwork with no marks or fading to any of the black plastic. As with the rest of the car. smaller details such as the wheel arch trim. door handles and wing mirrors are in good condition with no scratches or marks. All of the lights on the car are original Hella parts and are clear. free from cracks or moisture.

INTERIOR

The striped black cloth sport seats are all in excellent condition showing no wear or tear to any of the bolsters. as are the rear seats. The dashboard remains in clean condition with no marks or sun damage. All of the electrics and switches work as they should. The GTi embossed steering wheel is showing little wear. retaining a good texture. The black carpet throughout the car is clean and free from damage or wear. The black roof lining and pillar trims have all been renewed and are in perfect condition.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The engine bay is spotlessly clean having been repainted while the engine was being rebuilt. The original engine has been completely rebuilt: rebored. honed. with new pistons. all new bearings. etc. Most of the ancillaries are new or refurbished. including the rebuilt gearbox. new clutch and cable. Too many parts have been replaced to list. but full and detailed records and receipts are available. The freshly rebuilt engine has just clocked 500 new miles.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES

The original Tarantula alloy wheels have been refurbished and are all in excellent condition. The brakes are brand new. with new wheel cylinders. shoes. pads. discs and all new copper/nickel pipes.

HISTORY FILE

First registered in March 83 this Mk 1 GTI has been professionally brought back to original condition. The car comes complete with a Full Service History of all service receipts. almost every MOT from new and includes the Original V. A. G. Service Schedule.
