1955 Willys M 38 A 1 1/4 ton 4 x 4 all original (except canopy).
24 volt original system.
Runs great! 35 k original miles. but less than 200 since engine rebuilt.
Purchased for $2800 originally with around $7500 in updates with records. Like new canopy with doors. etc.
Comes with extra windshield for parts including wiper assembly.
Needs knob for choke and vacuum lines to wipers need replaced.
Never kept outside. but has light rust on springs and couple spots on the undercarriage from sitting in a shed that can be cleaned up easily.
This jeep was traded to my dad by a friend who was an army recruiter and had all the restoration done.
It has never had a title. but I do have a clean bill of sale with no liens.
Supposedly. this jeep was in General Mc Namara or Westmoreland's unit but I do not know how to research to confirm that.
The serial number is 84668.
