Current customer rating:
1958 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia ‘Low Light'
A tastefully enhanced ‘matching numbers' car.
Keen fans of air-cooled Volkwagens will have noticed that certain older models have been appreciating steadily for some time. and the signs are that this trend will continue. Amongst the more sought-after models are the earlier Type 14 ‘Low Light' cars. commonly known as such due to the lower placement of the front headlights. All ‘Low Light' models were built before 1961.
This 1958 Karmann Ghia has been tastefully and sympathetically enhanced under his stewardship. Everything that we could keep original on this car. we kept. It has been the subject of a full bare metal re-spray and refurb by one on one restorations 01282 606080. and needed only very minor repair to the body and floor-pan to bring it up to the required standard.
The car is finished in the original ‘Bamboo' colour. complimented with a ‘Palm Green' roof which is a shade lighter than the original ‘Dark Green' but which suits the car perfectly. Following this work the entire braking system was rebuilt. and the original bumpers were re-chromed. The motor required only a top-end overhaul and runs perfectly.
On the inside the original headliner. original door cards. wiring loom. and dials were refitted along with a full retrim of front and rear seats by trimming tonic . very cool fat biscuit style. A rare original ‘Empi GTV' steering wheel was selected to go with the equally sought-after ‘Johnny's Speed and Chrome' gear shifter.
To complete the car's look. a ‘Slamwerks Pro' front beam was chosen to give a lowered ride height and very little compromise in ride quality. with similar treatment to the rear. a lot of time was spent dialing in the ride with torsion leaves tweaked to give standardish factory ride quality. made a massive difference in driving pleasure.
the car has been to lots of vw shows all over the uk and also a trip to belgium bug inn . with no problems at all .
the braking and steering system have all been renewed.
The car also retains its six volt electrical system. with the benefit of quartz halogen lighting.
viewing is welcome anytime by prior arrangement just give me a call. european overseas buyers please contact me if you need anymore info on shipping and if you have any worries as i will help sort things out for you . if you ask me nicely i will . could deliver into europe.

I'm ignorant on a great number of subjects, but the individual above who was offering 20k pounds I guess it was(?), is foolish. SMH...come on guy...IT IS NOT FOR SALE AT THIS POINT IN TIME! I cursory search would render that.
