mk2 golf LHD G60. Very rare, edition1, gti, rallye

Left hand drive Oak Green G 60 from factory. A very rare car. Year:1989. imported in 2003
Around 160 k on the clocks. PG engine with 5 speed box (160 bhp as standard)

HPI Clear. Log book. old mot's and paperwork all here.

Taken in as a none runner. It requires a few items.
Power steering pipes. supercharger. interior.

The car suits someone who would like a stiffer shell for track days (G 60 shells are stiffer than gti) or a very rare show winner once complete. This car is rust free with only a few minor marks. I have seen bad paintjobs on show winners but this is very good.

The roof has a carbon skin over the metal. This can be removed by a bodyshop as the original panel is still present. Not to my taste but its reversible.

Currently has no supercharger

This has had an ABS delete. For those who don't know. The ABS on these cars is poor. Previous owners have deleted the notoriously complicated. expensive and heavy ABS setup for a reliable servo setup.

I comes with a few spare items to complete it cosmetically.
G 60 arches. bumpers. side skirts. door mouldings. roof gutters. Including a smoothed set of plastics.

Wheels are very rare 15" MTI stainless splits with excellent tyres all round
It has had a new windscreen fitted (not bonded)

No supercharger
Private plate can be removed depending on price.

Please remember this is an old car which was stored a few years ago after a respray. I has a few storage marks. The engine turns and did fire up but do not have the time to go through this car due to other projects. I can work out a deal to have the engine running as factory but please get in touch. This will be an additional cost.

Once complete these cars are well over £10. 00 and we know this market very well. A safe investment that is earning more than a saving account will offer and will continue to rise if you understand the voting system.
