Standard eight car - rare 1955 model for sale

Rare Standard Eight. early 1955 model with sliding windows. no boot - one of the last ones produced like the 1953 model (later 1955 types had wind up windows).
Access to the boot is by folding down the rear split seats.
The spare wheel is located behind the number plate and panel which is underneath the boot and is accessible by a key to take the panel off.
Transmission is 4-speed manual gearbox.
This car has been fully restored - new wings and panels. new front window and rubber. new headlights. all new brakes throughout. seats and headline reupholstered. undersealed floor. spray painted interior. relined boot. new clutch. full paint job inside and out.
It is the original engine and original indicator arms - which come out of the door posts.
All work took over 14 years to do.
5 good tyres on it with original hub caps.
She runs very well. good starter. comfortable ride. heater works (original type 1-setting heater).
Spare parts for this model are available from Triumph Heralds and Reliants.
She is tax exempt and her MOT expires in November 2013 (now MOT exempt).
She sailed through her last MOT with no problems.
Original workshop manual also included.
Current mileage is 5. 60.
Re-advertised due to timewasters.
She is a lovely car but I've no time to appreciate her and show her off at car shows and needs to go to a good home who will spoil her and treat her like a lady.
