This vehicle will require very little work to be an excellent club car. A Holden of the same year will not have synchro in first gear, electric wipers, reversing light, 16 inch wheels, arm rests front and rear, proper fan boost Smiths heater, carpets etc etc. A Holden will however have a huge price tag. Nothing against Holdens, but the Vanguard was a far stronger vehicle, and very popular in Australia in the 50 s and 60 s due to their rugged construction. The fact that they had the famous Vanguard wet sleeve motor, closely related to the Ferguson tractor engine, was a real selling point.This car is not perfect, but it does not come with a big price tag. Spare parts are cheap and readily available.Please email any questions you may have.
