motodrome are very pleased to offer the ultimate in classic SAAB 900's - a 1991 turbo 16S convertible (the full-fat. high-power one not the slower LPT model). automatic.  with the full aero kit.

 

finished in Metallic Gunmetal Grey  with full  grey  leather trim & walnut dash. and black powered hood.

 

Good late classic 900 specification - Power hood/seats/windows/mirrors. automatic transmission. cruise control (still working!) abs. walnut/leather trim. central locking. full aero kit. 3-spoke alloys. headlamp wash/wipe etc.

 

Also fitted with radio/CD with iPod plug and electric aerial.

 

This one has an odometer reading of 161000 miles  (relatively low for one of these – they're capable of huge mileages) supported by a sheaf of  invoices. bills. etc. plus almost every previous MOT back to 1994. Last serviced July 2013. so it's ready to go

 

Comes with MOT to July 2014  and road tax to the end of September 2013 too.

 

On a fast 50-mile test it performed without apparent fault – these are quick. classic cars!

 

Further detail:

The body and paintwork on this one look very smart indeed overall. nbsp;and it still appears to wear totally original paint. with consequent blemishes but real honesty . No major dents (it's very straight down the sides) but obviously expect minor stonechips. scuffs and scratches etc commensurate with it's age and mileage. but overall it's pretty impressive. All I can really criticise is: 3 out of 4  plastic bumper corners are a bit scuffed. some bubbling under the paint on the OSR wing just underneath the rear quarter window. a couple of rust bubbles in the usual places on the offside door inner panel. and a little bubbling on the offside scuttle just under the screen.   See the video below for a full appraisal of the bodywork

Interior – very nice indeed all round with good leather  Drivers seat has the usual small wear hole in the base of the outer upper bolster.  Carpets and wood etc all in good order. Started on the button and performed superbly on a fast 50 mile test - didn't display any signs of misfiring. hesitancy. overheating etc. and first class performance all round. No untoward clunking etc or dramas. . Watch the video below to see it in action
