Owned 16 Years. Best 900 I could find with only around 53,000 at the time. Had an easy life. 2nd or even 3rd CarLots of maintenance, lots of receipts, loadsa money! Mostly focused on running gear and MOT issues. Car is a very good drive. Car is very 'original'Car was a write of in 2004 (ish) when old lady widow crashed it inside garage - write off marginal at the time, and its given good service for 17 more years. So:Bodywork: Solid, with limited rust. Photo's show some developing rust in the wheel arch, in the area arch moulding trims. Important you decide how to repair as the trim is rare as ...... unless you want to go chrome. Photographs of boot space show a small rust point (penny coin) and otherwise totally solid. There are some small bodywork dents in the boot, which I have ignored for yearsPaintwork: A selective respray would pay huge dividends. The bonnet, while very sound, has many small 'pot' marks that restrict a perfect line, but also, could lead to surface rust in a few years. Electrics: All works well, except headlight washer motors, and intermittent wiper function. ABS ECU replaced 2 years ago, and have another second hand as space. Clock works, a bit. Radio and tape work OK, but 'face off' LCD knackered, so takes some skill to control. Window motors replaced about 8 years ago. Sunroof works smoothly.Lights: Headlight replaced 2 years ago, cabin light not working. Crack in one indicator lens.Alarm: Isolation alarm (sigma) still works and controls ignition. Alarm sound failed. Lots of 'clickers' and all reprogramed/reset about 3 years ago. Central locking works on drivers door, trying to work on passenger door, and disconnected in boot.Recent works:Full vacuum tube and Gromit replacement along with AirMass control. Gearbox ignition barrel replaced, so 2 keys needed on keyring. Full lube service recently, Oil, fuel and oil filter.Number plate has high value (look for K900 SJT)  so is not for sale with car.

Answer to good questions, Ebay not posting (why?)Yeap, saab (900) enthusiast, and this is my 5th 900 over 25 years. So many BILLIANT design features with comfort, visibility and capacity (rivals my old Volvo estates - without the headroom.) Really hope it goes to an enthusiast who enjoys, rather than a dealer who is looking to profit ('restored' - I guess dealers could push for a £10k after spending a minimum!)Questions:Sunroof is as far as I can tell, original, yes its a leaf trap, but looks to correct to be retrospective fit.Tyres are fine, but I have never spent lots of top tyres, as 'good value' is always my choice. As I know from my Caravan, tyres over 8 years old SHOULD be replaced. No MOT ever complained, but I'd budget to replace them and that way, you will have new tyre for many years of your ownership.MOT - July 2022 - and look through the MOT history - its public info confirms the mileage progress and the works done due to MOTs over the years. The Tow bar was fitted when I have an inflatable boat in a trailer box. I also towed a 'folding camper' - all lightweight towing. Had E320 Merc estate and large Nissan Xtrails for Caravan and Horse trailer towing. Electrics on tow hook will need a cleanup to work.(I replaced rear springs, and shocks after the time when I used the car for a little towing)I am retired (early) and available during the week, but next weekend would be best to support viewingsI am selling though an Ebay auction because its a way of determining the current (crazy) market value. Early sale and ending the auction would not be a 'cheap' option as I really don't know what a 81k, last 900 could be worth. Think also about number plate value to you. Its not in the sale.Also... Passenger seat does not come forward on lever..... Drivers window has 'slowed' with the cold weather. Once car warmed up, window fine. Needs a little TLC on mechanism,
