This is an original non modified 1972 Boatail riviera . I recently purchased it from its original owner ( 92 yr old born in 1924 ) who kept this car in very good shape . It has factory air conditioning . drivers power seat . power windows . tilt steering . power disc brakes . original working AM-FM radio . rear defogger . power door locks . fiber optics for headlamps and turn signs ( all working )and the original road wheels . It runs and drives exceptionally well . well enough to drive anywhere you point it . The motor moves this car effortlessly down the road . No modifications have been done . in fact it still retains the original exhaust system and sounds great . The interior is in exceptional shape showing minimum wear . no cracks in dash . not faded . door panels are not cracked . rear package shelf is not broken or loose . headliner is original and in tact with no signs of ageing . Original trunk with all car boards in tact and no rust on underside of deck lid . original spare and jack not touched . Underside is dry and clean with NO RUST or rot . The car was painted some years back . looks good but not perfect . The passenger door has a slight dent from her parking along a cement column . The drivers side passenger fender and hood alignment is less then great and needs to be aligned correctly ( possible hinge is worn ) . It looks like it might have been changed 30+ years ago . I asked her and she did not recall . All power options working properly . radio . wipers . turn signals . all interior and exterior lights . even the key buzzer . just a nice honest nothing hidden driver . The car is very big and does NOT fit inside my garage so I am putting it out there . I feel bad leaving it outside as it was garaged mostly indoors as well as a private parking garage in NY . The car was not detailed . cleaned up for resale . just as i purchased it and will clean up nicely . engine has never been opened . painted . detailed or cleaned .
