Fastidiously maintained by the previous owner. GDG 384 has black cellulose painted coachwork which is emphasised with twin gold coach lines. The Art Deco inspired interior is sumptuously appointed in brown leather to the front seats and door cards and fawn Bedford Cord to the rear. Further refinements include the use of highly polished wood for the dashboard and door cappings. leather bound wool carpets. lambswool over rugs in the rear passenger compartment. sunshine roof and Wilson pre-select gearbox. the whole of which can be seen in Penn Bradly's book. Armstrong Siddeley- The Post War Cars (page 52). This matching numbers Lancaster has a comprehensive history. from the original bill of sale when the car was supplied by Regent Motors of Cheltenham on 28 th June 1947 for £1275. 2 s. 4 d to its first owner Mr R H B Nicholls. It would remain in his and his son's possession until 2004 when it was acquired by the last owner. Officials of the Armstrong Siddeley Owners Club believe it to be one of the best examples available.
