Have an original owners manual (and wallet). original sales brochure and photocopy of the workshop manual. Sony CD manual and some other Renault literature including recall technical sheets

I have extensive history for the car (some MOTs and tax discs missing) but here is a highlight of the recent history of the car

In September 2003 the car was extensively overhauled including glass out respray in the original Renault red including inner wheel arches. re-badged as an Alpine.  new interior (carpets and two tone red/black leather seats. door cards by ART) and a number of mechanical items including red Samco silicon turbo hoses. braided flexible brake pipes. K & N lifetime air filter. manual turbo boot valve Magnecor spark leads. A single CD Sony face off in car entertainment system with also fitted with upgraded Infinity speakers in both the front and rear of the car. The following cosmetic changes were made A610 rear light cluster and grill were added to the car along with a stainless Devil twin exhaust and Renault 21 remote locking. At this time the registration of C9 GTA was added to the car.

From 2005 to 2008 the previous owner of the car spent ~£4500 on getting the car mechanically working properly including solving a overheating problem which ended up with the heads being skimmed. Work included new rear calipers. new alternator. steering rack rebuilt. new cylinder head gaskets. rebuilt radiator. new radiator cooling fans. new coolant hoses. rebuilt radiator fan assembly. replacement headlight glass and clutch cylinder. powder coated rocker covers. new engine cooling fans and ducting. The majority of the work was carried out by Roadspeed in Stroud a renowned Alpine specialist.

Since my ownership spent ~£2000 including refurbishing the alloy wheels. replaced all tyres (Dunlop sport front and Toyo R rears both with less than 1000 miles currently). replacement passenger electric window mechanism. replace rocker gaskets. fuel filters and flexible fuel pipes. handbrake assembly and cables. replace gearbox driveshaft seals. repair the hinges and door mechanism on both doors (the doors used to drop). full service including both engine and gearbox oil and replaced various interior parts including auxiliary switch panel  and centre cubby holes. The majority of this work was carried out by a local (Newcastle) Alpine specialist T. W. & S Barker

The car is overall good condition mechanically very good. interior very good. body good.

Bad bits

Some paint chips on offside front bumper driver and passenger door and base of door frame Micro blistering on the passenger door. few scratches on paint work. small paint chip above front bumper on near side. pictures available on request. nbsp; slight chipping on the edge of a couple of the alloy wheel plastic centres. minor de-lamination of the screen drivers side base. electric mirrors don't work . heated rear screen does not work. trip computer fuel consumption does not work. Dashboard illumination is not bright and to improve it the rheostat has been bypassed. Intermittent does not work on windscreen wipers. There is still a small oil leak other leaks being addressed by rocker cover gasket replacement and driveshaft seals mentioned previously.
