You are bidding on a 1935 Packard 120. Packard's first year for the 120. Since the 120 sold very well. subsequent changes were made by the factory to make it a better car.  Two of those changes I have made to this car. namely the engine and final drive ratio.  The original 1935-120 engine was 257 cubic inches and later changed to 282 cubic inches and stayed that way through 1947 (this was done by lengthening the crankshaft stroke-the block remained the same).  This car has a low-mileage newly-overhauled 1939-120 engine. balanced and full of new parts.  The original Stromberg EE-14 carburator and correct generator were overhauled as well and used.  The waterpump was brand new.  The car originally came with a 4. 54 differential but was changed to a 4. 09 ratio using the original axles. rear housing. etc.  The car will drive an honest 55-60 mph cruise.   The transmission was rebuilt using new bearings. input shaft. main shaft and cluster gears.  The car received new front coil springs. new kingpins. a new center steering bearing. a new cross shaft (steering is tight). rebuilt wheel and master cylinders including new brake lining and new brake lines.   All chrome and nickel plating was redone with the exception of the vent windows and trunk hinges as these were overlooked but they have fair chrome already.  The car was stripped of paint. re-primered and painted using single-stage urethane enamel in Packard blue.
The interior was professionally done using the correct Packard pinstripe broadcloth of grey and black. matching the factory dashboard and window mouldings.  The carpet is grey.   The temperature gauge was rebuilt and calibrated.  Currently. the thermostat is not in the engine in order to facilitate a cool engine break-in during the summer months.   The fuel tank sending unit is new. as is the wiring harness.  The fuel tank was repaired. requiring a new metal bottom welded in place so that there is no sealer in the tank.  The vacuum windshield wiper is a N. O. S. unit recently overhauled.  New wood was installed throughout the entire roof area as well as a new fabric insert.  The car is equipped with a banjo steering wheel. which is installed but not pictured due to it's recent acquisition.  Other accessories include a heater. clock. side mount spares. trunk rack and trunk and a goddess of speed hood ornament.  The car has four new Lester whitewalls and Trippe lights.  The driveshaft was balanced and has new u-joints.  Running board mats were also replaced.  The car's paint. chrome and interior were completed in 2010.  At the A. A. C. A. 2010 Hershey meet. the car took 2nd place.  I'm selling this car to buy another Packard.  Please do not email questions. call me directly at 717-733-3127 until 9pm E. S. T.  More pictures and a video can be viewed at this website: http://www. flickr. com/photos/66023199@N08/with/6006418457/

Looks as though the car has had interrested buyers for a few years now. Is this a serious offer. If so, let's talk...
Thanks,

Nice Packard! Q? All 1935 Models I have seen, the grill/shell is basically in a more or less in a vertical position similar to the '34' Models. Yet in the photos provided for this listing, shows what I would consider to be of a '36' due to the 'Rake' of the grill/shell. Your Thoughts? With Respects!
