1940 Packard One-Eighty Formal Sedan - Model 1807
Offered here is a recently beautifully restored straight Super-8 Formal Sedan in excellent overall condition. Finished in the handsomecolor combination of black with gray cloth interior with a divider window, this Formal Sedan speaks with both elegance and purpose.
Of recent years there was anexcess of $60,000 spent to ensure this car's overall cosmetic and mechanicalexcellence. Most recently the 356 cubic inch Super 8 engine was treated to a complete rebuild which included newpiston bearings, filters, valve guides and seats, rebuilt carburetor, brakes,and new wide whitewall tires to name a few. Notably, the car has an operationaloverdrive transmission which was also fully rebuilt making it an exceptionalride at highway speeds. It has a jump seat, transports 5-6 passengers. Vehiclelength is 217”, including trunk rack.
This vintage automobile wasinvited to be entered in the 2015 Winter Park, Florida prestigious “Concoursd'Elegance” and achieved winning the Bronze Medal in the Packard category.
