It has been fully prepared for sprints and hillclimbs and meets MSA blue book requirements section 12 for modified limited production cars However with some adjustments could be used for circuit racing etc
It's also road legal with historic road tax. however is currently SORN'd
CHASSIS

Front and rear cut back to the suspension mounting points to reduce weight

Front track increased by 2"

Suspension points moved for lower ground clearance 3. 5" and to achieve a more vertical position

Radius arm mounting points relocated to suit wider rear track

Outer rails and additional outrigger at the front and rear chassis strengthened to provide support for roll cage and harness

Engine mounting set back 3" from standard position

Steering rack mounting points lowered and rack extended

Aluminium sump plate

SUSPENSION

Avo 15" dampers with adjustable damping and spring seats all round

Tubular front and rear anti roll bars with ally mounting blocks and Teflon coated rod ends on the drop links

Aluminium watts linkage plate to lower the rear roll centre

ENGINE

Essex 3. 1

Hardened valve seats

High compression pistons

Large valves and gas flowed heads

Race cam

Roller rockers

Baffled sump

Heavy duty flywheel and cosworth clutch plate

GEARBOX

Ford type 5 four speed overhauled by BHG Ltd with additional oil feeds to bearings

Short input shaft used to enable short faced bell-housing to be utilised with hydraulic clutch

REAR AXLE

Replaced with Se 6 b 3. 58:1 ratio enabling 3" wider track

Jaguar XJS LSD

BRAKES

Standard disc with green stuff pads and 10" drums on rear

Servo assisted 3:1

FUEL SYSTEM

Aluminium 14 ltr tank located in car

Facet red top electric pump with pressure control valve

Weber 38 DGAS/3 A bored out and jetted to suit cam

Gas flowed inlet bell-mouth and MEGA FLOW air filter

COOLING

Merc aluminium light weight radiator set at 45 degrees with Kenlowe 16" pull fan

Aluminium aerofoil to assist air through vents cut out of bonnet

WHEELS

15" woolfrace

Khumo ecsta v 700 soft

The car was set up on a rolling road by INTERPRO AUTOMOTIVE Thornbury and puts out 196 bhp at 6800 rpm

It is extremely competitive in its class and has only been used 6 times since it was built with excellent results (pots to prove) but family commitments make it more and more difficult for me to use it hence the sale.

Any sensible offer considered.
