Triumph Gloria Vitesse ( very rare and pretty 30's sporting saloon ) for sale

Thank you for viewing my very rare and very pretty Triumph Gloria Vitesse sporting saloon. These 30's Triumphs have such great style and presence and always remind me of the larger sporting Bentley's and Jaguar saloons of the day. This car had been in storage for many years before being restored several years ago. The car was dismantled and repainted in Black over Green. all the chrome was re-plated and the wire wheels powder coated along with the interior door frames. The interior is a lovely place to be and has not lost that lovely patina that only age can bring. even though new carpets and fur flex door trims were fitted. at the same time a new ply floor was fitted. The dashboard was removed and re-veneered and the door fillets re-laquered. The car was completely re-wired and fitted with sensible upgrades such as flashing indicators. new semaphores have been fitted and work in conjunction with the flashers. Speedograph rebuilt the temperature gauge and serviced the speedo after which a new cable was fitted. All new tyres have been fitted they are a little wider than the originals hence the spare wheel cover is not fitted at present. it is with the car and in excellent condition. This model is fitted with an opening windscreen and sliding steel sunroof. both in working order. The engine is a 10. 8 hp 4 cylinder coventry climax with twin stage carburettors. both carbs have been rebuilt and a new correct pressure fuel pump. new fuel lines and hand built stainless steel fuel tank have also been fitted. also a complete stainless exhaust system is fitted. New distributor cap. leads and caps have been fitted along with electronic ignition and new coil. The list goes on !

I'm sure my mum had something similar to this in 1980. We called her the vitess sports car. Four seats, very big engine, runners. The only thing I am not sure of is the back end. Was also green
