1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia for sale
Current customer rating:
For sale is my grandmothers 73 Karmann Ghia that she has owned since 2002 with 85. xx ORIGINAL miles. She is the second owner and has receipts from her ownership as well as the previous owner. Before I go into detail. this car is a 100% ready to be daily driven. it Drives and Brakes smooth. stable and Straight. The interior as you can tell is MINT and super comfortable. There is not an inch of rust ANYWHERE. NO accidents. and the suspension down to the axles are all fairly new as can be seen in the pictures in this link

The engine is leaking a little bit of oil from the valve covers but my brother and I will have the corked gaskets replaced prior to the auction ending. The manual trans shifts smoothly and doesn't grind at all. clutch is perfect. It actually has a push start button now to start the car rather than turning the key all the way. She had the seats original leather reupholstered to cloth in order to make it more bearable in all types of weather. she would drive it daily to her work prior which was like 10 miles roundtrip from her house for the past 14 years. This car still retains its original AM/FM stereo which actually still works pretty good given the radio stations have sufficient range because of the antenna I believe ( not great but very neat)All the lights work. has disc brakes up front. new tires all around including on the spare. the pop out windows in the back work fine. and the interior is all new The Pan is rust free as are the drip rails. battery tray. doors. and around the windows.
NOW FOR THE NUISANCES:Engine hood latch is removed but it doesn't flap around or anything funky like that Paint is super mint aside from one chip the size of your pinky finger nail inside the passenger door jam. and three minuscule nicks around the passenger door you wouldn't notice 5 steps away from the car. The rear bench seat is missing because who actually fits people in the back seat of their ghia The car was originally green but painted cream once before my grandparents had it painted. however you wont find any evidence of that.
Car is located in Hayward. CAI reserve the right to end the auction early If you win the auction the price you win it for is the price you pay. there is no price negotiation after the auction. Will help to ship the car anywhere around the world as long as you pay for the shipping. I have shipped and sold personal cars overseas multiple times. Any questions you can message me personally or call me at
