hi and welcome to my reluctant sad sale of my 1969 comer pb panel van. as some of you will know in the classic car scene. these vans are becoming very sort after now. with a growing scene by the day. there is a club out there which I am a member of. which is called the www. commervanfan. com club . it is an internet based club which has loads of friendly members in it. and caters for everything comer pb related. I own my very own business called www. coventrycommerpanels. co. uk. and we specialise in re producing all the major body panels for this make of van. we also undertake full restoration services on these makes of van on behalf of customers who want to restore them back to their former glory. most of the vans that we come across are of the pop up roof type camper versions of this van. however you are looking at my very own van which is a rare old beast that don't come up for sale very often. as there just aint that many left or around. as most of them are of the camper variety and not just a plain panel van. this van underwent a full on restoration a few years ago at my workshop. and has new lower and upper body panels fitted where needed. and then it went for a full re spray. the van also has new braking systems all round. which includes new cylinders. pipes. hand brake. shoes etc etc. the van also has new clutch as well as new slave cylinder and master cylinders fitted. it has re trimmed seats in red vynal with cream piping. and has new indicators and lights etc. the van is fitted with white pin strip tyres to really set it off. and has been lowered for that sexy low rider look that all surfer dudes want. this van is way cooler that any vw out there and will set you apart from anything else on the road. ive really enjoyed this van but needs must and it has to go. in order to make way for new venture in the pipe line. so someone is going to be a lucky person and stand out from the crowd. when they buy this van. every time I go out in this van I get stopped by people asking questions about it . people wave at me as I drive along. and I get smiles per mile every time I use it. as with every old vehicle there are still a couple of odd jobs that need sorting out still on the van to really finish it off. but these are only minor things. the worst one is that I have never got around to ply lining the rear floor or bed area of the van after I took the old rotten stuff out in order to restore the van. a couple of sheets of 12 ml ply will soon sort this! . there are a couple of small wear and tear marks or age related marks that have appeared on the van over the last few years. ie stone chips. don't get me wrong there isn't that many really. and a good day of fetteling would get these sorted. if the buy it now price is reached I will personally bring the van into my workshop for the day and sort out the issues mentioned above within the price paid. so it will be mint! so grab yourself a bargain whilst you can and get out there in the summer sun and look the dogs dangleys down by the beach or just driving around by where you live. p. s. one more thing to mention. this van was a diesel before. but has now ben changed to a petrol unit from another comer van. this was done due to original engine being no good and petrol ones are more common place so parts are easier to come by and fix . if you would like more pictures . then text me your number on 07968634055 and I will send some back don't delay and bid today as this is up for sale once only. and if it don't sell im gonna keep it and go a different route in order to raise funds needed for the new venture.
