An original UK car with almost all it's early features still intact. including Cheesegrater front grille Split screen Semaphore indicators (working) The lovely early ‘art deco' dash Sprung steering wheel Smaller rear window Round type heater

Seemingly supplied new by Vincents of Reading – there is a small plaque on the dash.

Well-restored by the last owner over the last 2 years. including 4 new heritage metal wings. bootlid and doors rebuilt etc – allegedly there is now ‘no holes or spots of rust' on the bodyshell

At some point in it's life it's been fitted with the larger and sweeter 948 cc A series engine instead of the original 848 cc motor. but it does endow it with performance enough to hold it's own – I've done around 100 miles in it now and it drives really well

Further detail:

The body and paintwork on this one look rather smart. with no dents or big scratches. . A couple of the panel gaps (especially the NS door to sill line) could be a little better - the previos owner advised it's had new wings - there's also a recent (expensive) bill for repairs to the door bottoms and quarter panels. which might account for the above.

The bumpers and some other chromework might benefit from rechroming as they're a bit patinated. Basically it's not a concours contender. but a really useable early Minor that drives brilliantly.

Obviously expect minor stonechips. etc and blemishes but there's Iittle I can really criticise apart from the above. .

Interior – nice. and correct all round. All I can really criticise is the upper part of the rear seat (not the facing) has a split in it. and a couple of the side trims are a bit tired.

Starts on the button hot or cold and it performed utterly superbly on test.

No signs of

overheating etc. with good oil pressure. with no untoward noises or dramas. and feels very tight on the road. Nice ( 3-synchro) gearbox. steering. and brakes. Just trundles along happily. All I can criticise is the odometer has been zeroed. and won't record mileage.
