Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.25) based on 604 votes
This is what they call a Baby Austin 7 Sports Racer and is the split windscreen version that is very collectable. It has an original Muller Body. there is no fiber glass or patchwork anywhere to be found. It is a genuine original steel bodied boat tail racer featuring the one door on the passengers side making it easy access to get into. This vehicle still features the 747cc - 10 hp side valve 4 cylinder engine and operates off a 12 volt electric system. This vehicle has had a quality nut and bolt restoration that was completed in the 80's. This vehicle won the best running chassis of the year in the Brisbane A& static car show in 1991. The Sports bodies are now very collectable. very limited numbers were built and rarely do you see these vehicle offered on the public market; they are usually sold through Car Clubs or passed onto family members. This Austin comes complete with the hood and tonneau cover.

If you are after an Austin 7 Sports which is one of the last Austin 7 race bodies built then this little 1931 split window racer could be the right investment for you.

Hi, I like your car very much. However, I d'like to build a tail racer on an other car. Do you know where I can find this boat tail kit?
Thanks for any answer. Best regards,
Walter
