1963 Peel P50 Recreation for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 1144 votes

The Isle of Man. located between England and Ireland. was home to the Peel Engineering Company. which produced the only cars ever to originate from there.    Known as "The Smallest  Production Car Ever Built. the Peel P50 began as a project to evaluate minimum possible dimensions needed to build a car.   Approximately 47 production models were produced.   An original Peel P50 brings upwards of $80. 00 in today's market.

This example is a recreation of the original Peel P50 and was built to a high standard using a fiberglass body made from the original factory molds and original factory NOS parts secured from the Peel Engineering Company on the Isle of Man.   Imported to the United States from the United Kingdom in 2010. the car is painted in the correct blue color and fitted with the correct Zweirad Union DKW 49cc hand start engine.   This example is correct in every way and is indistinguishable from an original.   Other than a slight distortion in paint over the fuel tank (which is a characteristic of the originals) this car is spectacular.   The car starts and drives perfectly.   It is a crowd pleaser and a show stopper and would make a nice addition to anyone's collection or museum.

The car is sold with a bill of sale only.
