Up For Sale Is a One of A Kind Oldsmobile Starfire! Was a Florida car. before being built into a IMSA Race Car in 1998 by Red Farmer Racing out of North Carolina.
(Look up Red Farmer Racing: he is one of NASCAR'S Most winning drivers and he is still racing today) Red's brother Raymond built this car in their shop in 1998 with a 1971 Chevy 350 LT 1 engine out of a NASCAR Racecar that Tony Stewart owned at one time.
He had a body left over from a GM Prototype for a 1971 for use in NHRA Drag Racing this was one of 10 bodies only made. very rare.
So he took this doner 1975 Starfire with 4. 00. original miles on it and NO RUST.
Stripped it and put the engine in it an ALLISON 5 sp auto transmission with a 2000 Corvette posi traction rear end with 206 gears then he mated them together and raced it in 2001 at Daytona in the Historic Class for fun.
He was clocked at over 185 mph.
Raymond moved to CT in 2004 and brought the car with him. and then proceeded to put the original dash and interior in it. Then it was registered. street legal with Ct. Title until 2011 at which time it had 5. 050 miles on it and sold it to Me and I did a Complete Re-Do on the Body as Picture show and New Carpet and Seats spent $ 8000. 00 to make it a Real Nice Driver Then I Sold it in 2012 To a gentlemen in Florida and the gentlemen in Florida only drove it to car shows and put on a 200 miles in a year and traded it back to Me for a Corvette with Air Conditioning. It has a clear Florida Certificate of Title. the car runs at 100% it does not overheat the transmission is perfect and crisp. gauges all work. drives great handles like a Racecar goes like a Racecar!
