For sale is a 1973 'Brilliant' Orange VW Beetle. I've had this bug for just over 2 years and got it as my first car. I have daily driven it and its never let me down! However its time to get something more practical before i go to university. I'll list below as many of the features and modifications i can think of. Engine:Orginally a 1300 recon unit by previous owner had a top end rebuild early this year to 1600. Now has 1. 4 ratio rockers. lightened flywheel. 1300 heads to give slightly higher compression. Dual Empi 40 hpmx carbs. brand new early this year.

E mpi glass pack exhaust (very loud) Older style tinware Engine pulls really well and runs great. and doesn't leak any oil!
Interior:2 OMP harness belts (was going to upgrade engine again)stock chairs and bench seat not in perfect condition but look goodrear parcel shelf has 2 6 x 9's and a 10 inch sub that run through a sony head unit in the glove box uses bluetooth. aux. usb. The air tank and compressor are mounted in the front boot space. Empi quick shifter. it shifts really well as the gear shift rod bushing has also been replaced.

Suspension:The front is fitted with munroe air shocks. through bars and dropped spindles which makes the car pretty much lie on the floor Can easily be raised to a comfortable ride height. The rear is stock suspension but lowered by 1 notch. front disc brakes and rear drums.
Body/frame:The floor pan was restored by a previous owner and in very good condition. The body work is not in great condition areas of surface rust are starting the show but there is no rot through. I've tried to show the worse of the rust spots in the pictures above as these are the only things that let the car down. Speedo is reading 93000 miles Rear has centrelines on and front has stock rims. all 4 tires were recently replaced.
Thats pretty much everything I can think of about the car. It recently passed its mot with no advisories so that will last till September 2017. I have a lot of documentation with the car including many receipts and mot slips. Im open to any questions about the car so please ask.
