Triumph TR7 Worked 3 5L V8 in NSW for sale

Seeking expression of interest in the sale of my 1980 Triumph TR 7 V 8. The vehicle displays “TR 8” plates which will transfer in NSW with the purchase of the car or enquiry can be made for interest in the plates only. This car is an everyday driver and would be a very competitive weekend club race car. The car body is in good condition has had no accidents or structural damage. The paint work is fair (some minor surface rust and paint flaking) and would enjoy a full paint restoration with fitment of the genuine TR 8 bonnet and decal set that is also provided. The front head light apron has small section of rust that needs attention (I have applied rust treatment) and fibre glass repair also required to front bumper or replacement found. The 3. 5 L Rover engine has been significantly worked (approx 25. 00 kms ago) achieved rear wheel dyno 218 HP. The engine management system is Haltech and could do with a re-tune to match the recent change in diff ratio to 3. 08. Other enhancements such as air conditioning and power steering can be done by the new owner as their project. with the parts included in this sale or purchased separately to interested parties.
Preference is to sell to a Triumph enthusiast who understands the value in such a classic car/project and also understands how to drive it safely. Details of interest are:

Engine upgrade full rebuild by Pryce Engines (Cardiff): Isky racing cam 264 Mega hyd. 40 thou overbore. new O/S pistons. bearings. fasteners. balanced. 3613 CC (220. 5 ci). 10. 56 CR. CNC port polish heads. thin walled valve guides. matched chambers. new running gear. high torque starter motor with spare. MSD ignition module. programmable Haltech EMS. ($700 O+ in parts & labour cost)

Racing carbon fibre plenum chamber. twin Jenvey throttle bodies (flow 500 HP) with shortened carbon fibre superflare trumpets (supplied by ACT performance products UK) ($1500). can swap throttle cable between street throttle cam & racing cam
