For sale here is my 1955 short door TR 2. Imported from the USA last year. in LHD form but very easy to convert to RHD by obtaining and bolting on the requisite parts.
This car is for restoration and has had a lot of money spent on it already and is almost complete as you can see from the pictures.
The car is circa TS 5000. with steel wheels. soft top and unusually an overdrive gearbox (shown and correct early type with an a type overdrive of TR spec).
There is absolutely minimal corrosion on either the chassis or body. what repairs have been required are mostly done and finished and the panel fit is very good even. though the panels have all been off. This leads me to believe that the panels are all original.
There are some minor areas (for example small dents in the engine bay caused by removal of the engine and gearbox lump). one sill and the lower parts of the front wings which have not been attended too. however beyond that there is very little bodywork to complete.
I will sell all the parts in the picture with the car and will not split anything off the car in any event.
The car has correct import papers. all duties paid and a NOVA number for onward registration for no further charge in the UK or any EU country.
