Unexpectedly available for auction again I present you with the opportunity to bid on a British built. Italian designed open top sports/tourer with 4 seats and that gorgeous soundtrack from the original Triumph V8 engine

Important to note :

This Stag is nearly 36 years old and has general wear and tear expected for a car of this age. It's a solid Stag but not concourse and I personally have seen several other Stags at garages and Auctions requiring a lot more work than this one and at a considerably higher price. I've tried to be honest with the items listed below which. in my honest opinion. require attention in order to bring this solid Stag up to a higher standard and I had intended to address this year.
Both sides have been subject to some further respraying by the previous owner. nbsp; paint imperfections are evidentSlight rust showing on the seam between sill and rear wing and at the base of the windscreen pillars just above the door hinges (see photo's)
The piping on the seat has worn and the inner piping has worked through (see photo)The Hard top is usable. the seal for the nearside rear window is missing plus the roof lining has some tears and needs to be stuck down in a few places
Carpet needs re attaching around the sills and bulkhead (see photo)
Both door seals have worn and need replacing - new ones recently purchased and will be supplied with the carStarts fine with the gearbox in neutral onlyThe clock ticks but doesn't keep timeThere is some damage to the vinyl covering of the centre console caused by the handbrake lever
The Petrol light in the instrument cluster remains illuminated even with 3/4 of tank showing on the fuel gaugeThe Soft top is totally beyond repair and needs replacing however I and many Stag owners use the hardtop over the winter months and take the hardtop off for the thrill and fun of open top motoring during the spring and summer months

A good solid and drivable Stag in need of some TLC to make it a higher standard
