For sale is my beloved 1973 mk III GT 6. I have owned the car for the last 10 years during which time I have poured thousands of pounds into improvements to make this car what it is now.

The car underwent a full ground up restoration in the 1990's before I bought it and since then we have progressively improved upon it. Genuine reasons for sale. 1. I never get time to drive it and 2. It needs to make space for a new project.

Below are a list of recent modifications that jump to mind: Full respray in red. Paintwork is very good.

No rust. No bubbles. New windscreen. MOT till June 2017 Historic vehicle so no road tax New brake servo New vented disc conversion with new wider calipers Rebuilt strombourgs
Full stainless steel exhaust manifold and system with twin tailpipes (sounds great) Mazda Mx 5 seats (much more comfort and safety in my opinion) Wider 5. 5" steel wheels (sand blasted and painted in silver) Date of first registration is 11/1/1974.

The car is fitted with overdrive in 3 rd and 4 th. It has been a little temperamental recently so having traced the problem to the overdrive solenoid not working properly I will include a brand new solenoid bought from Canley Classics.

The car does not have rotoflex rear suspension (this was changed back in the later production)
I've put a very sensible reserve on it (lower than last time) and viewing is highly recommended (car located in Daventry) before bidding.
