1977 Austin London Fairway Taxi Sedan

Dallas Motorsports presents this 1977 London Taxi Sedan!

This Fairway Taxi is unique in and of itself! Fitted with a 2. 7 Liter 4-Cylinder Diesel. it will run for as long as you need it too! Restored back in 2011 by the London Taxi Group in Ridgemont Beds. England. During the restoration process. a new wiring harness was installed. along with new brakes and tires. The engine and 3-Speed Automatic transmission was also freshened up! In addition to the mechanical work performed an aftermarket radio. Oogah Horn. 2 12 Volt Fans. and 3-Cricket Seats were also installed! Two of the cricket seats are facing the rear in the passenger compartment. The other seat is in the drivers storage area up front. This gives the driver the potential to carry 6 passengers! The 12 Volt Fans were installed to help circulate air during the summertime.

This London Taxi is fitted with a manually operated sunroof. electrically operated side mirror. power steering. and power brakes! Since 2011. Kip Motor Company in Dallas. Texas has been performing all of the routine service.

I can remember. as a kid. riding around the Dallas area with my Dad in one of his many Porsches naming off the year. make. and model of “any” cool car we saw.
